Can Buffalo Ever Come Back?

This is a fascinating article in the New York Sun written by Edward L. Glaeser, a professor of economics at Harvard University and a Manhattan Institute senior fellow. The article is quite long, so simply copy and paste the address into your browser: http://www.nysun.com/article/64879?page_no=1&access=216907

Why don't any WNY writers write stories like this? Oh, probably because they feed from the same trough as the democrat politicians...the seemingly never emptying gov't trough, full of pork, government waste, and unfulfilled promises which end up keeping the trough full for them to continue feeding from.

If this article isn't motivation for WNYs to begin to vote in more Conservatives with REAL tax cutting plans and with intent to actually act on them, then the city of Buffalo and the surrounding area will continue to see economic and population decline.

Cut out the union control, cut taxes, cut spending, and watch business, jobs, and productive individuals (as opposed to the individuals who live off of the government tax roll, rather than paying into it) come back to stay!

Continue to tax the area to death, and the only people who will want to live here are the ones who get the government hand out and become reliant on it.
