Just a few short days after being heavily criticized on this blog for her lack of objectivity when it comes to covering and reporting county issues for the local Gannett Newspaper group, Jill Terreri shocked us at Niagara Times by writing a story in Sundays paper which was extremely critical of the Niagara County Democratic Party and it's chairman, Dan Rivera.

We won't rehash the story here, but needless to say, this objectivity is refreshing. As we've said before, criticism is fine, as long as it's earned and it's objective.

Kudos to Terreri for forcing a little bit of humble pie down our throats here at Niagara Times.

Like I said a few days ago, I thought Jill was really getting better. It would be great if she would continue to call some of these political hypocrites on the carpet...like people running for office as taxpayer watchdogs who themselves don't pay their taxes.

Kudos to the blog for having the courage to give credit where credit is due.

If Rivera is encouraging his candidates to misrepresent the thruth, as Terreri pointed out, I hope the voters of this county are smart emough to see through it.

Just the facts, maam, just the facts.

Big deal....there should be an article in every other day about Dan Rivera. He spews venom all the time....and its time for the people to realize what a joke he is.

I can't believe that Jill Terreri actually reported a fair and original political story. It's funny that I expressed a concern about her reporting just a few days before she wrote her latest column. Maybe she is realizing how slanted her little notebook and reporting has been. Let's see if she keeps this in mind when writing next week. Only time will tell.
